As a Senior Staff Accountant you would be expected to:

• Prepare notice to readers, review engagements, small audits and other financial mandates.
• Prepare corporate, personal, estate and HST/GST tax returns.
• Respond to clients questions and queries.
• Communicate and follow up with CRA on behalf of clients.
• Research and analyze income tax queries.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or close to completion.
• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.
• Ability to speak and write in both French and English.
• Proficient with using Caseware, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Experience with DtMax preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and can work independently.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, decisiveness, propose sound alternatives and conclusions.
